Titanium Quartz

Titanium quartz is a man-made, uniquely coated type of quartz. It has a striking, iridescent appearance that makes it stand out among many quartz varieties.

It is a quartz crystal that has been treated with titanium dioxide, giving it a shine and vibrant colors, often in shades of purple, blue, or gold.

It is placed in a chamber where vaporized titanium and other metal oxides are introduced.
Under high heat and pressure, these metallic elements bond to the surface of the quartz, forming a thin layer that produces the crystal’s vibrant metallic sheen and rainbow-like colors.

Although the coating process is man-made, the foundation of the stone remains natural quartz. The combination of natural crystal and modern craftsmanship creates a gemstone with a bold, luminous look – one that feels both contemporary and otherworldly, as if light itself has been captured on the surface of the crystal.
